This web address hosts the sites for Meigs County Emergency Medical Services and Meigs County E9-1-1. Meigs County EMS provides all of the emergency medical needs for Meigs County, Ohio and provides mutual aid medical services to the surrounding counties of Gallia and Mason County, West Virginia. Meigs County EMS also provides central dispatch functions for all 12 Meigs County fire departments. Meigs County EMS operates two full time Paramedic ambulances from two stations that have paid personnel. In addition to the paid staff of Meigs County EMS, five stations are placed throughout the county in various locations that are volunteer in status. Meigs County EMS also supports one fire department non-transporting emergency medical first responder unit in conjunction with the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department. The Meigs County EMS office also answers incoming E911 calls in Meigs County, Ohio.
